								  | Umm al-Banin (s.a.), the mother of Hazrat Abbas (a.s.), is one of history's most distinguished mothers, whose life was filled with love for Wilayat and Imamat. This virtuous and aware woman was among those who defended the sanctity of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and held mourning ceremonies for the martyrs of Karbala. Her personal attributes and characteristics, including moral virtues, human perfections, strong faith, patience, and insight, rightfully made her the "lady of ladies" in the house of Imamat. With her deep understanding of the status of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), Umm al-Banin (s.a.) nurtured children like Hazrat Abul Fazl Abbas (a.s.), who never abandoned their loyalty until the very last moments of their lives. This article examines her virtues, which include loyalty, good manners, love and acceptance of Wilayat, courage, patience, eloquence, poetry, and knowledge. The research method used for this study is a historical-descriptive approach, and the data collection method is library-based. |
