To examine the position of the 'Itrat in the interpretation of the Quran, the author begins the article by defining the words 'Itrat, Quran, and interpretation, and determines the referent of those knowledgeable in the sciences of the Quran based on authentic verses and narrations, establishing that it is none other than the 'Itrat of the Prophet. To support this conclusion, he relies on the understanding of the people at the time of the verses' revelation, as well as the disagreement among commentators regarding the meaning of the Quran being a cure.
