The Definitions and Background of Ethics

Islamic ethics refers to behaviors that are the outcome of acquired traits and are described as valuable acts in the religion of Islam. A vast volume of religious teachings and doctrines is dedicated to introducing these values and encouraging humans to adhere to them. The important point, and in fact the main distinction between the science of Ethics and other religious sciences, lies in this very criterion of value.This article aims at explaining the definition and background and principles of ethics.
