1. The All-Wise God considers His eternal word as life-giving to human beings: (یا أَیُّهَا الَّذینَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجیبُوا لِلَّهِ وَ لِلرَّسُولِ إِذا دَعاکُمْ لِما یُحْییکُم) "O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life" (Al-Anfal: 24). It is also an unfailing divine promise that if people adhere to divine teachings, they will achieve a "good life" (Hayat Tayyibah): (مَنْ عَمِلَ صالِحاً مِنْ ذَکَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثی وَ هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْیِیَنَّهُ حَیاهً طَیِّبَهً وَ لَنَجْزِیَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ ما کانُوا یَعْمَلُون) "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do" (An-Nahl: 97). |
