Abstract: (4 Views) |
Lady Zaynab Kubra (peace be upon her) must be considered, after her mother Zahra (peace be upon her), the foremost among women in eloquence, rhetoric, asceticism, intellect, knowledge, and patience. Her fame for her role in Karbala and in the caravan of captives, and the impact of her presence in turning the tide of the Battle of Taff, have led to the neglect of other dimensions of her personality. The unparalleled patience and forbearance she demonstrated and recorded in the events of Karbala have overshadowed all her other laudable attributes. This article intends to examine this dimension by considering the scientific and narrative status of this lady and to introduce some of the hadiths narrated by this female hadith narrator. |
