The author explains the scope of Quranic knowledge based on the verse "An Explanationfor All Things" (Tibyān li-Kulli Shay'). The paper first presents points from the verse and related Traditions to elucidate it. Then, it discusses and critiques the interpretations of the verse found in Tafsir al-Namuna and Tafsir al-Mizan.
