Islam, as a religious ideology, is one of the most durable civilizations with the greatest impact on the world, which is based on a unity that stands completely against any racial or ethnic discrimination. Major racial or ethnic groups as Arabs, Iranians, Africans, Indians, Chinese, etc embraced Islam and contributed to the building of Islamic civilization. This essay, discusses generally the global civilization created by Islam, the characteristics of Islamic civilization and its basis, importance of education and learning in the development of Islamic civilization, the significant impact of the Islamic civilization upon Europe in a number of different ways during the middle ages. |
