After stating introductory points about the Sahifa, the author introduces monotheism as the basis of morality in the Sahifa and lists six points in this regard: knowledge of God, God's grace without people's deserving it, fear and hope ( Khuf and Rija’), hope in divine mercy, reliance on Tawfiq, trust in God. Then he explains seven ways of spiritual excellence that are mentioned in the Sahifa: the Quran, the month of Ramadan, Tawalla and Tabarra, intercession, resorting to the witness of deeds, Salawat for Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. The author has explained all these points based on the text of the Sahifa al-Sajjadiyah.
